As an American, I take my peanut flavoring seriously. I will eat peanut butter straight out of the jar without so much as batting an eye. So, when I see something marketed as a peanut delight, I expect a full peanut experience. I expect to taste nothing but peanuts for hours after I eat it. This, however, is not so much a peanut treat as a date bar that tried peanuts in college. It’s delightful, that much is accurate – the peanuts so a great job of tempering the sweetness of the dates – but I was nevertheless disappointed. If I don’t smell like peanuts for at least 15 minutes after I eat something, is it really worth the trouble?
