I have to admit that I’m really not sure whether or not these Läkerol pastilles taste like cactus or not. As far as I can tell, they have a sweetish, sourish, bitterish taste with strong overtones of mint and licorice. If I think hard, it’s almost possible to convince myself that there is something in these candies that is vaguely reminiscent of a prickly pear, but I cannot be certain if this is my own conviction or the influence of the packaging. What I’m certain of is that, when chewed, these candies make a valiant effort to pull out all the fillings in your mouth.
